Spring 2010 Registration and Eligibility
 

Eligibility

Currently girls ages  5-15  as of January 1, 2010 will be eligible to play.

Girls must be a Marlboro resident to be eligible to play unless prior Board approval is granted.

 Marlborough Girls Softball fields teams in each of the following age groups:

5-6      Instructional League        7-9 Jr League         10-12 Minor League      13-15  Major League

Each age level is a different skill level.  We realize some of the girls would like to play up a division before they reach that age level but, it is important that they play at their skill level as well as their age level. 

Registration Guidelines

 It is VERY important to register early. We cannot determine if we will need to add additional teams until we get all the registrations in.  If you were on a team last year and do not register before the deadline you are not guaranteed a spot on that team.  Everyone must register on or before the deadline to be assured a spot. Anyone registered after the deadline will be “waitlisted” if there are no openings, regardless if you played the year before or not.

Registration prior to Feb 1, 2010 will save you $$!  All completed forms and fees must be submitted by February 1st to be eligible for the savings.

Deadline for registrations is February 1, 2010 to guarantee a spot

 Any child wishing to play softball must register. No child will be allowed to practice or play without a completed & signed registration form. 

Registration will be accepted by mail only at this time. Registrations are now open.

You may download the registration form from this website and send along with your payment to Marlborough Girls Softball, P.O. Box 5715, Marlborough, MA  01752.

Registration forms will also go home with your child from school, in the guide book that will be mailed to your home, or you can pick one up at the Rec Dept. on Concord Rd.
